Welcome to
Sunday School at
First Lutheran!
We treasure children at FLC. We want kids to love and trust God and we want kids to be excited to discover how God is active in their lives. FLC partners with parents to nurture the faith of our children so they are accepted and saved by grace, grow in faith and go out in the world by participating in events and missions that serve others.
Sunday School is offered for children ages 3 yrs – 5th grade and runs during the school year (September – May). We welcome all children in worship, but we also provide a nursery, activity bags, and tables for families and children in the back of the sanctuary.

| Sunday School Memorization |
| Sunday School students at each grade level learn memory work at First Lutheran. Kids will recite their memorization as a group for their Sunday School teachers in class on a specific date. Your child’s teacher will send home details. |
Please help your child learn their memory work at home as a way of reaffirming the primary role of parents as teachers to your children!

New Children’s Ministry ~ We are happy to announce we are expanding our children’s ministry. Beginning January, 2011 we are introducing Splash! for our 0-3 year old children. All newly baptized children will automatically be enrolled in the program. The Splash! program is a pack of 12 age appropriate monthly mailings for parents filled with ideas for faith-filled play, worship, meals, and prayer together and a music cd.
If you have an older child not yet in Sunday School and would like them to be enrolled in the Splash! program please contact Shelly McNitt to have them added to the program and we can get the age appropriate Splash! pack for them.
