Pastor James Bump -- I grew up in Iowa, and met my wife, Pam, at a Lutheran summer camp. I was a counselor, and got poison ivy, and she was the nurse. The rest is history. We're proud of our two daughters, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. I am passionate about wanting others to know the difference an awareness of God's love can make on life, relationships and our worldview. God's unmerited grace, that raised Jesus from the dead, is the power to transform lives. I love both traditional and contemporary styles of worship, and enjoy the rich diversity valued here at First Lutheran Church. I'm a Packer/Brewers/dog person, as opposed to Vikings/Twins/cats. I enjoy bird hunting in the fall, dog training year round, and rooting for my alma mater, Iowa State University.
